Weekday weather rundown: 12-27-17

Here’s a quick rundown of what the weather will look like today throughout Mississippi.

In north Mississippi, it’s colder today. Mostly cloudy early in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny. Highs will be in the lower 30s and wind chill readings are ranging from 8 to 13 during the day. At night those lows dipping down to the lower 20s, but the wind chill getting higher and ranging from 9 to 14.

In central Mississippi, it will be cloudy until late afternoon, then becoming partly sunny. There’s also a chance of light rain in the morning and afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 40s. Tonight mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of light rain after midnight. Lows will be in the upper 20s and the wind is kicking up a notch with wind chill readings ranging from 12 to 17.

In south Mississippi, cloudy today with some light rain likely in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Highs are expected to be in the lower 40s. Tonight lows will dip down into the mid to upper 30s.
