Here’s a quick rundown of the weather today across the Magnolia state.

In north Mississippi, warmer temperatures today than the past few days. Expect sunny skies with highs in the upper 60s. Tonight, not as cool with clear skies in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. There is a slight chance of showers after midnight and lows will near 50.

In central Mississippi, there is a freeze warning in effect until 8 a.m. this morning. There will be some patchy frost in the morning and then temperatures will be warming up with the sun out today. Highs will be in the lower 70s. At night, warmer with mostly clear skies and a chance of light rain after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 50s.

In south Mississippi, there will be some areas of frost this morning, but the sun will soon be out. Highs are expected to reach the lower 70s today and in the evening, warmer temperatures with mostly clear skies in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. There is a chance of showers after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 50s.
