Lots of sunshine marking your Saturday. North Mississippi seeing highs in the upper 80s/mid 90s with a few clouds wheeling overhead. You may catch a stray shower here and there, but your chances are slim (about 10-20%). However, Sunday you can expect widespread showers and embedded thunderstorms to begin rolling into the Delta early and moving across the state all day.

Central Mississippi also looking at sunshine Saturday. Highs peaking in the lower 90s. Your rain expected to move in Sunday as well, beginning in the late morning/afternoon. Look for plenty of showers cropping up throughout the beginning of your week.

Across the southern reaches of the state, scattered showers expected to mark your entire weekend and even punch into the beginning of your workweek. Highs topping out in the upper 80s with plenty of humidity.
