Westbound Mississippi River Bridge Traffic Down to One Lane

VICKSBURG, Miss. — A westbound lane of the Mississippi River Bridge in Vicksburg has been temporarily closed.

According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development closed the outside, westbound lane for a routine bridge inspection.  The lane is expected to reopen to trafficFriday afternoon.
