JONES COUNTY, Miss. – A Jones County woman has admitted to killing her own daughter after an argument with her last year came to a deadly end.
Darlene Keys, 52, said while she loved her daughter Robin, she had several surgeries and couldn’t take it when her daughter began hitting her. She shot Robin Keys twice with a .45 caliber handgun.
Darlene Keys pleaded guilty to manslaughter Monday and was sentenced to 20 years in prison, with 11 suspended.
