An investigation is ongoing after a woman was murdered at a Gautier apartment complex.

Late Monday night, officers were called to the College Villa Apartments for the discharge of a firearm. Upon arrival, officers learned that 27-year old Taleya Guy was taken to a vacant home on Westpark Drive after being shot. Officers and an ambulance arrived at the Westpark location where Guy was pronounced dead.

Both scenes were processed by Gautier Criminal Investigation Division. At the time of the incident multiple weapons were recovered and five people, one male and four females, were held at the Gautier Police Department for questioning.

As a result of the investigation the four females, Jasmine Anderson (26), Phyllis Williams (29), Lamonica Boone (23), and Tinisha Massey (23), were all arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault. Bond for the four will be set at a later time during their initial appearance.

The deceased and all four females charged are not residents of Gautier, and all five females arrived at the apartment complex together.

Currently, none of those in custody have been charged with Guy’s murder.

If anyone has any information about the crimes is urged to contact the Gautier Police Department at 228-497-2486 or The Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898.
