JACKSON, Miss. – There’s a new movie hitting the streets of Mississippi. Hollywood movie producer Adam Rosenfelt moved his company to Mississippi to grow the movie industry here. He announced Sunday that he will be producing “The Most Wonderful Time” in and around the Jackson area.
Rosenfelt wants to build an entire industry in the state to provide more jobs and opportunities for the stars of Mississippi.
State Senator Josh Harkins said, “There’s a bill in the senate finance committee, that will hopefully come out tomorrow, that would put an incentive program on there that could be a really good way to go about financing the movie industry, which could help provide hundreds of jobs.”
According to Governor Phil Bryant, “2014 is going to be the year of economic creativity.” Building a new movie industry could be one of the ways to accomplish that.
