2016 Interview with Paul Ott Carruth

Paul Ott Carruth passed away on Sunday after a long battle with cancer. He was 83. Carruth was Mississippi’s goodwill ambassador, a conservationist, a Mississippi musician and songwriter, served as the honorary co-chairman for the 2008 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and was known for hosting radio and television shows.

In 2016, Carruth sat down with Paul Gallo for an in-depth interview about Carruth’s career, his faith and about one of the subjects he was most passionate: Mississippi.
