Puppies Used to Reduce Stress at Southern Miss

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The University of Southern Mississippi is offering a cute and cuddly way to reduce stress.

Yesterday, Close to 25 students took a break from study for finals to spend some quality time with their new furry friends.
This is the second year Southern has worked with Southern Pines Animal Shelter to bring the dogs to campus.
Along with helping the students calm their anxieties, Brittany Curzwiler of Southern Pines Animal Shelter tells the Hattiesburg American, that it also helps the puppies be more energetic and social.
