Lexington County, SC– It started with a phone call on September 3rd. A mother can’t find her five children and can’t reach her ex-husband, their father. Saturday the father, Tim Jones, Jr. was picked up in Smith County, Mississippi.
The kids, ages 1-8, were not with him at the time of his arrest. Police confirmed Tuesday that the bodies of all five children were found in Wilcox County, AL.
News Mississippi contacted the Smith County Sheriff’s Department. The sheriff is out of state on investigation, but the department reports that he will release a statement to the media upon his return, which is expected Tuesday night.
