Your College Student Could Toss For Tuition Boost at Egg Bowl

JACKSON, MISS– The Mississippi Affordable College Savings Program (MACS) is hosting halftime for the 2015 Egg Bowl on November 28th, and that means a big chance at boosting your college kid’s tuition.

From now until Saturday, you can register your student for the MACS Tuition Toss. They will be called down to the field during half-time with other competing students. The one to toss the most balls into the inflatable in front of everyone in that packed stadium will win a $1,529 from MACS.

“This is a game changer,” says State Treasurer Lynn Fitch, “that’s a lot of books, or towards tuition.”

The MACS and Mississippi Prepaid Affordable College Tuition (MPACT) programs are divisions of the office of the State Treasurer.

Your child must be between 18-24 to participate, and registration ends Saturday.
