PASCAGOULA, Miss.- Tommy Robertson, former State Senator has plead guilty to embezzlement charges.
Robertson faced five counts of embezzlement from Singing River Federal Credit Union. He entered a plea of guilty on Monday at Jackson County Circuit Court.
Prosecutors said that the crimes occurred while he was still employed as the board attorney for the union. He has not been sentenced yet, and no date for that decision was made.
Robertson served as a state senator for 16 years reports WTOK.
