James Brown Film in Natchez Looking for Classic Cars

NATCHEZ, Miss.–If you or someone you know owns a classic car, the James Brown narrative being filmed in Natchez could use your help.

They are looking for older model vehicles to be used in the film.

“Basically I’m looking for vehicles from 1940 to the mid 1960’s,” said Picture Car Coordinator Tim Walters.

For someone that has what they term a “hero car”, which is a vehicle that will be driven by a main actor during the movie, the owner can earn up to $250 per day that it is used.

“We’re also looking for some 1950 to 1965 one-ton truck…big trucks like box trucks,” said Walters.

The vehicle also needs to be pretty much original and not have any modifications because he said the idea is obviously to have it look “new” for the time period.

If you think you have a car that would fit into the movie possibly you can contact the movie at 601-446-5754.
