HATTIESBURG, Miss.- Can you sing? Want to be a star and make your dreams come true? Well, here is your chance. American Idol season 14 auditions are coming to Hattiesburg.
Live tryouts will be held August 19 at the Forrest County Multi-Purpose Center. If you want to tryout you will be singing in front of judges and a live audience for a chance to go to New Orleans for another round of auditions August 27.
Contestants must prove they are a U.S. Citizen or permanent legal U.S. resident and all contestants must be between the ages of 15 to 28.
They also must submit an audio/video audition acapella or with accompaniment to MyFox 23 Facebook page, or at MyFox23.com, or email it to myfox23@whpmtv.com.
Entries will be accepted until August 8. An audition packet will be provided to the top 23 contestants, and it must be completed and have an attached photo of your head shot before August 19.
