Attacked on Spring Break: MSU Quarterback Dak Prescott, Teammates Headed Home After Being Jumped

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla.–An attack on Mississippi State Quarterback Dak Prescott and teammates Damian Williams and Torey Dale has left them tattered, but not seriously hurt. The three were headed back to Starkville after being jumped Monday afternoon at a concert in Panama City Beach, Fla.

Prescott and his fellow players did not press charges, though the quarterback got cuts on his face and said he was hit with a bottle, reported multiple sources.

He Tweeted a thank you for  “all the Concerns and Prayers! I’m okay and ready to get back to Starkville. Ignorance happens! Be safe on Spring Break!”

The players told relatives that they did not start the fight.

Spring practice for State starts March 16.
