Original report:

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is searching for 16 year-old Veronica Platt, a white female who was last seen on December 26th, with 20 year-old Tyler Wood.

The two said they were were going to Hattiesburg to have Christmas with Wood’s mother, Ann Wood Clark, and would return the same evening. They were traveling in a red/maroon colored 1996 Ford Mustang with a Petal Panthers tag in the back.

Wood’s cellphone has been turned off with the last location putting the phone in the vicinity of the MS/LA line on the morning of December 27th.

Investigators are now working with Crime Stoppers, The Fusion Center and Center for Search and Investigation. They are following every lead that is provided by the public, but have not produced any evidence. They have received details about Wood’s past but aren’t able to verify that information.
