WOODVILLE, Miss. — The Warden of the Wilkinson County jail has been arrested.
Roderick Frye is accused of lying on his law enforcement certification paperwork. He said he had not been convicted of a felony, but Frye pleaded guilty to manslaughter in 1999.
Frye’s past came to light after he applied for a job at a state prison in Louisiana where he is facing charges. He turned himself in to police and is accused of possession of a firearm by a convicted person and filing or maintaining false public records. He is free on bond
