Saturday the Mississippi Coast Coliseum hosts the Fifth Annual Top of the Hops Beer Festival will showcase over 150 world-class craft beer at multiple beer gardens. There will also be seminars for cooking will beer, food pairings, brewing 101, and other beer education session. Tickets are available at the door.

RUN FOR THE BEADS

Get a jump on Mardi Gras this Saturday and help out parades on the coast at the Third Annual Running for the Beads 5-K Run/1 Mile Fun Run! There will also be a costume contest for the best Mardi Gras “running outfit. “All the proceeds donated go to the Gulf Coast Carnival Association. Afterwards there will be Jambalaya, drinks, and entertainment to enjoy.

DIXIE NATIONAL LIVESTOCK SHOWS

This weekend kicks of the Dixie National Livestock Shows at the Equine Center at the state fairgrounds. This weekend event features the Palomino Horse Show. People from across the Nation and Canada travel to compete in the livestock shows.
