JACKSON, MISS– Some teams are headed to division and title games, while others are crushed for the season after college football this weekend.
Mississippi State just barely scraped by the Arkansas Razorbacks 51-50. The Bulldogs played hard but Arkansas almost came back at the end for the win.
Ole Miss grabbed a W from LSU 38-17 with the Tigers making several mistakes on the field. Ole Miss and State will battle for the title of Egg Bowl champion this Saturday.
And the Southern Miss Golden Eagles soared to victory over the Old Dominion Monarchs 56-31 this weekend they’ll take on Lousiana Tech for the West Division title in the Conference USA.
Jackson State took a hard loss home from Prarie View A and M as the Panthers continued their 7 game winning streak 56-14.
The Alcorn Braves are SWAC championship bound after their 56-3 victory over the Alabama A and M Bulldogs this weekend. This is the second time they’ll play for that title.
