JACKSON, MISS– A car was found in a creek behind a trailer park in Jackson Sunday. The driver was dead behind the wheel.
No one saw the car enter the water. A neighbor called police after she found the car. She told dispatchers she noticed a smell coming from the car.
The driver has been identified as male, but no other information is being released until the man is identified and the next of kin is told, reports WLBT.
Once the car was found, it took two hours, cutting the roof off, and the help of firemen and police to remove the body. An autopsy today should help in the investigation.
