Body found in Hancock County

HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss.- The body of a missing man has been located in a pond in Hancock county around 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

It was the body of 31-year-old Brody “BJ” Brown. The husband and father of two was last seen at Muddy Joe’s when he told his wife and friends that he was going the restroom and never returned. This took place around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night.

After searching nearly 400 acres law enforcement agencies and local rescue crews found Brown’s body in the pond.

It is unclear as to how Brown ended up here or who is responsible for his death.

Brown is the cousin of State Senator Sean Tindell. Tindell said the family is unclear as to how BJ ended up like this and hopes that police can find out what happened in order to bring closure for the family.
