PHILADELPHIA, Miss. — The driver that may have been involved in the hit and run death of a 3-year-old in the parking lot of a Philadelphia store has turned herself into police.
The woman’s name has not been made public at this time; but police say she is a person of interest in the death of Kayzlyn Thomas. The toddler died Wednesday, nearly a week after she was rushed to the hospital with severe head trauma.
The driver will be charged with the hit and run; and other charges are possible.
