Bulldogs lose to South Carolina in National Championship

Sunday night in Dallas the Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs basketball team lost to South Carolina 67-55.

The Lady Bulldogs overcame the odds when they made it to the Final Four, and again when they beat the University Connecticut 66-64 on Friday night. This ended the UConn 111 game winning streak.

However, Sunday night the Bulldogs fell to South Carolina 67-55 in Dallas.

This was the Mississippi State women’s basketball teams first time at the national championship. South Carolina lead at halftime 36-26. Victoria Vivians leading MSU with seven points.
