Canopy Children’s Solutions hosts annual wine tasting fundraiser

Coming up on April 29 in Jackson the Canopy Children’s Solutions will host it’s annual Wine tasting and Silent Auction at 2479 Meadowbrook Road, Jackson MS. 

Canopy Children’s Solutions, formerly called Mississippi Children’s Home has been providing safe nurturing environments for children and families in need of hope. They serve as the state’s most comprehensive provider of children’s behavioral health, education and social service solutions.

“We host this event in various homes throughout the Jackson area each year, and this year it will be at the home of the Lamptons,” said Lisa Purdie with Canopy.

Tickets are $100 to attend and the silent auction will take place between 7:00 pm. and 9:00 p.m.

Each year Canopy serves close to 4,500 children in the state. They are in 20 different locations and have an economic impact of $27.8 million. 93 percent of their revenue goes straight to providing solutions to Mississippi Children and families.

“We provide a wide array of services for children, and lead the state in early intervention autism services,” said Kay McCree with Canopy.

The wine tasting fundraiser is put on by dozens of corporate and private sponsors. Tickets can be purchased online HERE.
