D’IBERVILLE, Miss.- Wednesday is the big day for the Scarlet Pearl Casino in D’iberville.
The final touches to the $300 million dollar project were put on this weekend. It’s going up just east of I-110. The 15-story building will light up the skyline on the north side of the Biloxi Bay.
Once the doors are opened you can enjoy a 300-room hotel, cafe, a world class 36-hole miniature golf course, a giant gaming space containing 1,350 slot machines and 45 table games at the casino. Not only does the new business provide entertainment but it will generate 1,100 new jobs for the area.
The events on Wednesday begin with a ribbon cutting at 11 am, a luncheon for dignitaries at 12 pm, and there will be a fireworks show at 6 pm for the community to enjoy.
