Charges upgraded for Starkville shooting suspects

STARKVILLE, Miss.- Syboris Pippins and Jaylen Barker, two suspects in a Starkville murder case, have now been charged with capital murder. 

Pippins was initially arrested and charged with robbery, but that has now been changed to murder in the death of Joseph Tillman. His bond was set for $2 million.

Jaylen Barker was already facing a murder charge and it has now been upgraded to capital murder.
Tillman was shot on Nov. 6 on Maxwell Street in Starkville. Police believe it was a robbery gone bad.

So far, five individuals have been arrested in connection to the case; Jamario Pippins, 22, Tyler Harris, 16, and Brandon Sherrod, 19.
