Christmas at Landrum’s Homestead and Village

November 29-30

This Saturday and Sunday is the 31st Annual Christmas at Landrum’s Homestead and Village. The homestead and village is a recreation of a late 1800s settlement and will be lit up with candles and Christmas lights this weekend. Some of the exhibits include a confederate soldier encampment, woodcarving, chainsaw artist, candlelight tour, shooting gallery, and a wagon ride.

Santa’s Spectacular Toy Land

JACKSON

November 29

This Saturday at the Mississippi Children’s Museum is Santa’s Spectacular Toy Land. There you will be able to get your picture taken with Santa Clause, the art room will feature holiday themed spin art, and kids will be able to make reindeer food. In the evening the garden behind the museum will be decorated with lights and there will be snow machines running on the porch.

Christmas in Natchez

NATCHEZ

November 28 – January 1

Friday begins the annual Lighting of the Tree in Natchez on the corner of Main and Commerce. The ceremony will feature live music and a turkey gumbo cook-off at 5p.m. There will also be Christmas light displays throughout the city including animated displays on the river bluff.
