WALLS, Miss. – A wheelchair-bound man, who’s paralyzed on one side of his body, is expected to be in court Monday for his initial appearance on a murder charge in the death of his wife.
DeSoto County sheriff’s deputies said the woman was shot inside the couple’s Walls home on Thanksgiving Eve. They did not immediately release her name. Her husband, Phillip McElravery, called police to report the shooting. He was arrested and is at the DeSoto County Detention Center.
