JACKSON, Miss. — Inside a dumpster at a gas station in South Jackson, possible clues in the mysterious disappearance of an entire family from Brandon.
Police and FBI agents pulled a couple of items out of the dumpster before noon Monday.
Atira Hughes Smith, her husband LaTerry Smith and her seven-year-old son Jaidon Hill have not been seen since Friday. Copiah County deputies found their wrecked car Saturday, but no sign of the family. Police think the three are in a lot of danger and may need medical treatment. Family members are planning a prayer service for 6:30 tonight at Trinity United Methodist Church in Brandon.
