Corinth Nurse Pleads Guilty to Fraud

Corinth, Miss– Imagine someone using your identity to bill Medicaid for health care you didn’t receive. 

It’s called medicaid fraud and it’s why Tami Bivens-Johnson, of Corinth turned herself in to the police Friday. She says she got over 3 grand from Medicaid for billing phone calls as office visits, and forging papers saying she saw patients while she was out of town. Bivens-Johnson is facing up to 15 years in prison and over 100 grand in fines.
