Couple Face Charges After FaceBook Post Leads to Stolen Goods

GULFPORT, Miss. – A Facebook post has led to arrests of two Gulfport residents on multiple charges of having stolen property.

Harrison County detectives said the truck in a photo posted by Jason Conaway, 35 and Brandi Paine,30, had been stolen from Louisiana. After searching the couple’s home investigators said the trailer they were living in and two more pickups on the property had also been stolen.  One truck was taken from Biloxi, the other from Hancock County and the camper was stolen from Harrison County.

Conaway and Paine are charged with four counts of possession of stolen property. Both are being held at the Harrison County jail.
