Cowbells Could Blast Bulldogs to Bowl Win and New Year’s Eve After Game Partying in Miami

MAIMI, FL. – Mississippi State fans will be allowed to ring their cowbells inside the Sun Life Stadium during the Capital One Orange Bowl in Florida December 31.

However, there is some guideline fine print.  Fans must continue to follow the Southeastern Conference policy and ring responsibly. As a refresher: ringing will not be allowed from the time the offensive center is over the ball until the play is whistled dead.  “Our fans did a wonderful job this season with cowbell compliance, and I know they’ll exhibit the same as a show of appreciation to the Orange Bowl,” said MSU Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin in a written statement.

Mississippi State (No. 7) takes on Georgia Tech (No. 12) in the 2014 Orange Bowl.  The game will also be broadcast live on ESPN.
