Crampton to Announce Supreme Court Candidacy

TUPELO, MISS– Attorney Steve Crampton will formally announce his run for a seat on the Mississippi Supreme Court at two events in Tupelo and Hernando Tuesday.

“We live in challenging times,” says Crampton in a release, “Our God-given freedoms are under assault from all sides. The Declaration of Independence rightly states that government is instituted in order to secure these rights, not attack them… the very foundations of our constitution are at risk.”

Crampton has thirty years experience as an attorney, practicing in constitutional litigation and civil rights, as well as civil and criminal law. Crampton has defended the display of the 10 commandments, fought against partial birth abortion, same-sex marriage, and Obamacare.

“If there is no justice, there can be no freedom,” says Crampton, “I ask for your prayers, your support, and your vote on November 8th.”

Crampton will host two events tomorrow. One at the Holiday Inn and Suites at 923 N. Gloster Street at 12:30pm, and another in Hernando, at the DeSoto County Courthouse at 3:30pm.
