Delta Regional Authority Aids Delta Manufacturer

WINONA, Miss. — Over $100,000 will be invested into Screw Conveyor Cooperation in Winona by the Delta Regional Authority (DRA). The DRA is a federally funded agency, which has direct appropriations from congress that are approved by the Governors of the eight states in which the authority serves. The Indiana based Cooperation has been in Montgomery County for 60 years, employing 48 residents. According to the local development authority they chose to support this project to increase job growth in the area and the surrounding communities. Screw Conveyor Cooperation plans use the funds to update their facilities so they can accommodate new business and they expect to hire 20 new workers.
