Disguises Didn’t Work, Ex-Police Officers Accused of Stealing from Jackson Business

JACKSON, Miss. – Surveillance cameras recorded two Jackson police officers, who have been arrested and fired, stealing trailers from a downtown business.

Willis Thomas and Rodney Vaughn are charged with two counts of grand larceny.  Investigators said the video showed the men using a truck to hook up and drive away from AirLock with two trailers.   Both wore masks and hid their license plate during the Wednesday night robbery.

Thomas and Vaughn are being held on $75,000 bond each. Police said their investigation is  continuing and more arrests are possible.
