Domino’s looking to fix potholes

The city of Jackson has not been able to find a solution for the pothole problem, but a national pizza chain may have.

In an effort to keep their drivers and your pizza safe, Domino’s Pizza is offering to fix potholes in cities nominated by customers. The company’s newest promotion, “Paving for Pizza,” will pave over roads in the city that receives the most votes.

This is a massive opportunity for the city of Jackson to solve one of the city’s most immense issues without spending a dime. All you have to do is go to pavingforpizza.com. Once you get to the site, it takes less than 30 seconds to enter a Jackson zip code and your email address.

“We don’t want to lose any great-tasting pizza to a pothole, ruining a wonderful meal,” President of Domino’s USA Russell Weiner said. “Domino’s cares too much about its customers and pizzas to let that happen.”

Domino’s has already fixed potholes in places such as Burbank, CA; Bartonville, TX; Milford, DE; and Athens, GA. As of now, it is arguable that no other city in the nation needs this more than Mississippi’s state capital.
