Epps sentencing postponed, again

JACKSON, Miss. -Former Mississippi Department of Corrections Commissioner, accused of bribery, will have to wait until May to get sentenced. The new date has been set for May 24-25.

Sentencing against Chris Epps has been delayed at least two times.

Epps is accused of running one of the largest and longest criminal conspiracies in state history, taking over $1 million dollars in bribes and kickbacks over eight years.

With these bribes, Epps steered more than $800 million worth of state prison contracts to outside contractors.
