JACKSON, Miss. – A Delta businesswoman is back in the state to face charges of financial fraud. Gina Palsaini was extradited to Sunflower County form Palm Springs, California where she was arrested by U.S. Marshals late last month.
Palasini owned several businesses and is accused of orchestrating schemes to misuse investors’ money. Victims said she also jeopardized their eligibility with Medicaid and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Authorities said Palasini fled Mississippi while out on bond awaiting sentencing for felony false pretense.
