EXCLUSIVE: Donald Trump Sr. headed back to Magnolia State

JACKSON, Miss.- Governor Bryant himself confirmed to News Mississippi that Donald Trump, Republican nominee for president, will be returning to Mississippi on Aug. 24.

Just days after his son, Donald Jr., made an appearance at the Neshoba County Fair, it was announced that Donald Sr. will be returning to Mississippi for some special events in the Jackson-metro area.

“We are fortunate enough to be able to announce that Donald Trump Sr., our Republican nominee for President of the United States will be returning to the state on the 24th of August,” said Bryant. “We will be helping raise some money for the campaign as well as a dinner and perhaps a rally to join that.”

The precise location of the public event has yet to be decided. Gov. Bryant says they are weighing several options such as the Jackson Convention Center, but want to make sure it is a venue large enough to hold the expected crowd.

News Mississippi will bring more information as the story develops.
