Over Fifty Rounds Fired at Jackson Sports Bar, Two Killed, Others Injured

JACKSON, Miss. — Over 50 rounds were fired at Visions Sports Bar in Jackson Tuesday night. Two people were killed and three others were injured.

Police say three men pulled up in a Black Chevy Suburban just after 11 p.m. The men got out of the car, and shot into a Honda Accord that was parked outside in front of the bar. Two of the guns used were believed to be assault rifles.

A 38-year-old man was found dead at the scene. Another man, 26, who had been shot in the arm and the back died later at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Police believe the incident started because of an ongoing feud between the parties involved.

Also, the owner of the bar was cited for selling beer without a license and for operating without a city permit.

Still no arrests have been made. Police are investigating.
