Flood assistance still available for Wayne and Clark Co. residents

JACKSON, Miss. – Residents of Clarke and Wayne Counties can still apply for federal assistance if their poperty was damaged in recent flooding. 

So far, FEMA has registered more than 3500 people in Mississippi and have approved more than $5.8 million for people who were impacted.

You can file a claim by phone or online at 1-800-621-2262 or go to www.disasterassistance.gov.
