YAZOO CITY, Miss.- Yazoo City will get a new addition on Grand Avenue, a brand knew Walmart Supercenter.
The store is expected to open in the Spring of 2017 and will bring about 250 jobs along with it.
City Mayor Diane Delaware says it is a much needed boost for the city’s economy. She also hopes that if Walmart is a success other businesses will follow suit.
The Walmart Supercenter will offer a full line of affordable, fresh produce and groceries that include some local favorites and natural selections.
There will also be an on sight garden center, tire and lube express, 8-pump fuel station, and free store pickup service through Walmart.com.
