Florida Man Sentenced in Officer Death

GRENEDA COUNTY, Miss. – Running over an officer after feeling an armed robbery in 2013 is why Brandon Johnson of Orlando, Florida will spend the next 40 years behind bars with no parole. Johnson was a habitual offender and plead guilty in Grenada County Circuit Court to one count of armed robbery and one count of second degree murder.

Eupora Police Officer Keith Crenshaw died after being struck by the vehicle Johnson and two other men used as a getaway vehicle. Johnson’s accomplices died as a result of the crash that occurred following a high-speed pursuit.
