Friday weather rundown 8-25-17: Mild temperatures thanks to cold front

Friday dawning bright and cool across north Mississippi. The lingering cold front making for a beautiful next few days with highs barely reaching the upper 80s and overnight lows falling to the mid 60s. Expect this kind of treatment through Sunday.

Central Mississippi looking at highs in the lower 90s today with a severely reduced humidity factor. Tomorrow and Sunday, expect highs in the upper 80s with a few clouds creating plenty of shade. Rain chances remain low.

Throughout the Pine Belt, temperatures will stick to the upper 80s/lower 90s today as well, with a miraculous tumble in humidity. Your Saturday looking a little cloudy with rain chances increasing on Sunday.

The Coast keeping a close eye on Hurricane Harvey as it slams into Texas. Don’t expect to see the effects for a few days yet. You’re still in for partly cloudy skies today and tomorrow, with better chances for scattered thunderstorms on Sunday.
