PASCAGOULA, Miss.- Married for only two months, 27-year-old Krystal Dawn Kersey is facing sentencing Friday in the death of her husband.
Kersey pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 2013 and admitted she ran over 25-year-old Justin Gary Stork with her car in June 2013.
The Sun Herald reports the incident happened at River Bend Apartments in Gautier. Police said Stork was pinned between her car and a tree and was dragged some distance after he was hit.
Kersey failed to show up for trial in October after she had been released from on a $100,000 bond.
Police found Kersey Oct. 10 in Rio Grande City, Texas, near the Mexican border, with her two kids.
