Governor Bryant updates from RNC, takes lead of Trump campaign in MS

JACKSON, MISS– Governor Phil Bryant has announced that he will be taking the lead seat for the Donald Trump presidential campaign in Mississippi.

Governor Bryant said he is joining a team to lead Trump to victory Thursday.

“I will help lead the Trump campaign in Mississippi,” said Gov. Bryant. “They’ve asked me to, as well as a group of governors around the country.”

Efforts are already underway to build a team that would campaign for Trump across the state at the RNC.

“I’ve asked Treasurer Lynn Fitch to chair women for Trump here in Mississippi,” said Gov. Bryant. “I have been meeting with Mississippians here (at the RNC) to join the effort.”

The campaign has already received a kickstart, with Donald J. Trump Jr. confirmed as a guest for the Neshoba County Fair on Tuesday, July 26.

“We’re going to take Neshoba county by storm,” Governor Bryant said.

The Republican National Convention concludes Thursday night with a final word from Donald Trump.
