Greg Little drafted by Panthers in second round

Greg Little is the first Ole Miss player off the board in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Panthers selected Little with the 37th overall pick, the fifth pick of the second round. Little played in all 36 games of his Ole Miss career, starting 29 of those including every game in the 2017-18 seasons. The Allen, Texas native earned first team All-SEC (Coaches, AP) as a junior. Little was an Under Armor All-American in high school and a five star prospect.

Carolina moved up 10 spots to select Little, moving up from the 47th pick to 37th in a trade with Seattle to strengthen  its offensive line. Little allowed one sack, two quarterback hits and nine quarterback hurries over 465 snaps last season according to Pro Football Focus. The Panthers drafted Brian Burns, a defensive end out of Florida State with their first round pick, the 16th overall pick in the draft.
