The Gulfport PD is investigating multiple shootings that occurred on Monday. Both men that were injured suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A man was shot in the leg outside of a home on 26th street, and officers have named 41-year-old Marvin Ray McMillian as the suspect. Detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of McMillian charging him with one count of Aggravated Assault. They have not yet located McMillian and are continuing to investigate.
The second shooting occurred on Holly Circle. Officers responded to Garden Park Hospital and met with a 25-victim. They were able to recover evidence of gunfire at the scene, but have not identified a suspect in the case.
A media release did state that the victim was not fully cooperative with the Detective.
