Monday the Hattiesburg police officers responded to the Bonhomie apartment complex.
LaTosha Myers with the HPD said that when the officers arrived, they questioned witnesses who said that multiple shots were fired in an apartment complex.
During the investigation, officers found approximately 70 shell casings at the scene.
Myers said that three male victims sustained gunshot wounds as a result of the shooting.
Currently, two of the men are being treated at Forrest General Hospital.
While the other One was treated and released at the scene.
Eight subjects are now in custody with pending charges related to this incident.
Among the suspects is the star quarterback of the Hattiesburg High School’s football team, 18-year-old D’Andre Humbles, along with his twin brother D’Vonte Humbles.
LaTosha Myers, with the HPD, said that the investigation is still ongoing and that there may be additional arrests made.
