Head Start Shooter Arrested in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–Shots fired Monday and a bullet went into a classroom full of head start kids in Philadelphia. Police there say they arrested the guy the think did it Tuesday afternoon. Wilshaun McAfee, 31, is charged with aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

McAfee had been on the run since Monday, but police got a tip and picked him up shortly before 3 p.m.

There were around 15 kids and a teacher in the room when a bullet came flying in about 8:30 Monday morning.

Police told media they believed McAfee was involved in a car chase, pulled a gun and shot the other man’s car just outside the school. Two bullets hit the car. The other went toward the kids.

By pure chance, nobody got hurt.
